Are you ready to make an impact in your community while being a part of a fun, caring group of volunteers? Then WCFR is the place for you!
WCFR’s volunteers are the lifeblood of our organization and we cannot serve our community without these dedicated individuals. We have numerous opportunities available. No matter how you serve, you will impact lives in a positive way, make new friends, and have a good time doing it!
Do you know your way around the kitchen and want to work under the direction of a professional chef? We have openings for weekly and on-call food preppers, kitchen assistants and meal platers. Join a great group of volunteers who assist the staff with meal preparation and support the kitchen during meal service. Professional skills not required.
If you have always wanted to operate a commercial dishwashing machine (c’mon, it’s possible!), we can help make your dream come true. Extra love for anyone who chooses this job! Regular and on-call shifts available; some require lifting.
Dining Room Volunteers:
WCFR serves dignity with its nutritious meals. Hosts and servers make this happen with friendly smiles and a welcoming attitude. We have three incredible “front of the house” teams on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Regular and on-call shifts available.
Pick Up & Delivery Drivers:
The WCFR van is gassed up and ready for its next trip to pick up donated food or deliver nutritious entrees to our partner agencies in the community. If you’re ready to take the wheel, please let us know! This job requires lifting, so bring your muscles.
